Summary

Battlestar Wiki ialah kamus dan panduan episod yang "hidup" kepada siri televisyen Battlestar Galactica (1978, 1980 dan kira-kira 2003-kini). Ia adalah laman web yang "hidup", kerana ia boleh diubah oleh pengguna. Apa Wiki ini tentang?

Battlestar Galactica Wiki (a.k.a. Battlestar Wiki) ialah ensiklopedia dan panduan episod bebas meliputi siri fiksyen sains, Battlestar Galactica asal, Galactica 1980, dan Battlestar Galactica dibayangkan semula.

Battlestar Wiki bertujuan meliputi semua berkaitan dengan siri Battlestar Galactica. Dari Apollo ke Tom Zarek, ke Aerelon ke Virgon, dan juga dari Frak ke Zak, Wiki ini meliputi dan terus berkembang untuk meliputi semua bahan berkaitan dengan Battlestar.

Getting started

In order to be able to contribute files to Battlestar Wiki, you need to be logged in. You can register at the "Log in / create account" link in the upper right corner and enter a user name that will be used at all of your contributions.

Present Day

We presently cover all aspects of the Battlestar Galactica series, spanning the Original Series to the re-imagined version by Ronald D. Moore. You'll find -- and can add -- information on such items as terminology seen, events that occurred, and characters introduced & developed.

We will also furnish a complete and thorough episode guide, a la Lurker's Guide to Babylon 5, to analyze and dissect the episodes from this series. Unlike the Lurker's Guide, contributions are immediate and can be edited without the tedious process of emailing corrections and awaiting the webmaster for an update. Battlestar Wiki is part of the Frak Media Productions Network.

How to Utilize

Utilization of this Wiki is fairly straight forward.

For starters, you need a means to identify yourself. Therefore, you'll have to create a user account, which is fast, easy, and, of course, free.

Any hyperlink without an icon next to it, such as this one on the term naturalistic science fiction, leads to an entry on this website about that term. Above it, you will find a list of tabs. In this group of tabs, you'll find the "Edit" tab. Click it, and you'll be able to add, correct, or remove content. The Editing Help portion of the site will cover the essentials in editing entries, but it'll be like posting to a message board, and you'll see your results immediately.

You'll also be able to discuss the topic by clicking the "Discussion" tab. So, if you want to question on the merit of a piece of information in that entry, or spur discussion, you can do that there without including it in the "official" entry. (Thus presenting information and not back-and-forth bulletin board type commentary.)
